As the demand for metering accuracy and reliability increases, the rotary-type gas meter continues to retain its crown in peak performance, utilising ‘positive displacement’ to measure flow rates of natural gas and LPG.
Cost effective performance
Chief amongst rotary meters for overall cost and performance is the Common CGR-FX. Combining flexible flow rates of 0.2 up to an incredible 650 m³/h, fitted inline either in horizontal or vertical positions to DN40 – DN100 whilst maintaining precision accuracy.
The CGR-FX is an inline gas meter with wafer connections to suit PN16 flanges, adaptable for ANSI150 and is fitted with a low frequency pulse output as standard. Suitable for primary and secondary measurements, and for controlling metering of natural gas and non-aggressive technical gases in industrial applications.
The robust CGR-FX is designed to consistently maintain an EN12480 accuracy rating of 1.0 for up to 20 bar and is fitted with an aluminium housing to protect the 360° rotating index head, resisting environmental disturbances, accidental damage and ambient temperature changes of -25°C to 70°C.
The CGR-FX is approved to MID, PED, and ATEX standards and has an EN12480 accuracy rating of 1.0, its reliability is exemplary, and we have included the MWA 5-year warranty on every Common product we specify.
