Metro Prepaid collects electricity usage payments for landlords by vending power codes to their tenants.
Secured 20 digit power codes can be purchased from either a network of 29,000 UK stores (PayPoint), or by Cash deposit or Internet. Tenants key the power code into the meter using the keypad, the meter then shows the amount of kilowatts hours kWh of power that have been credited.
