MWA’s Kim Pritchard recently took part in a charity mud run to raise funds for playground equipment at self-funded SS Peter & Paul Catholic Primary School.
Kim, along with over 60 other parents and teachers raised £12,000 which more than doubled the initial target set by the school. There was no clean route to completion though as all parent and teacher participants ended up head to toe in mud and dirt over the 5 Km slog. It was smiles all around as participants crossed the finish line with Kim completing the run in 1 hour 20 minutes! Kim was over the moon that her efforts helped raise the money needed to purchase much-deserved playground equipment for all of the school’s children.
