What is LoRaWAN?
LoRaWAN, or Long Range Wide Area Network, is a network that is designed to wirelessly connect battery operated devices to the internet in regional, national, or global networks. Covering a range of up to 15km and preventing interference from external sources, LoRaWAN is the smart choice for your metering connectivity needs.
It is the ideal replacement for Wireless M-BUS connections, which have a total range of 300 metres, considerably less than LoRaWAN. MWA stocks a variety of products from different manufacturers that are compatible with LoRaWAN technology.
