The MWA and Landon Kingsway journey

The Journey so far…

After stocking its products since 2017, MWA Technology has been the proud owner of fire protection equipment and hazardous gas detection equipment manufacturer Landon Kingsway for over one year now. Soon, we will be adding many more products from their range to our portfolio.

Landon Kingsway’s products are ideal for boiler rooms and plant rooms, and our ownership backs up our commitment to keeping everybody safe in potentially hazardous situations.

At MWA, we have set expectations to both ourselves and our customers that we must deliver to a certain quality, and we certainly feel that Landon Kingsway’s product range achieves this standard. With our leadership, Landon Kingsway has begun a thrilling new chapter in its already illustrious history.

A number of MWA employees have previously worked at Landon Kingsway and can attest that MWA made an excellent decision in acquiring the Wolverhampton based manufacturer, which is also an internationally recognised brand with distributors located around the world. Their most famous product is the free fall fire valve, which provides a compact, leak-proof positive action mechanism that can be installed in either horizontal or vertical pipe runs.

There will be a shore of new Landon Kingsway products making their way to MWA soon, so keep an eye out on our website and social media pages for updates on our stock. If you have any enquiries or require any additional information, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

History of Landon Kingsway

Established by Mr Landon and Mr Kingsway over 60 years ago, Landon Kingsway was then purchased by Alexander Controls (Alcon), which became a subsidiary of Concentric Controls.

The Landon Kingsway and Alcon names have seen many owners; International Motion Control (IMC) purchased the divisions from Concentric Controls, before IMC was acquired by the ITT Corporation in 2007. In 2011, ITT split its organisation into three divisions, with Landon Kingsway and Alcon falling under the Xylem name.

Three years later, Landon Kingsway and Alcon became part of Rotork, an LSE traded company manufacturing flow control products, instrumentation and ancillaries, following its purchase of Xylem Flow Control.
