The Axonic is a static ultrasonic flow meter, perfectly adapted to the needs of district heating and cooling applications. It is equipped with an universal interface which allows it to be easily combined with Itron’s range of calculators, such as CF51.

The Axonic is powered by the connected calculators and therefore it doesn’t require its own source of electrical power (e.g. battery)

Dynamic range
Due to its wide dynamic range, the CF-UltraMaXX V qp1,5 can be used for all applications in residential metering which requires usually two different product versions qp0,6 or qp1,5.

Both UltraMaXX V qp1,5 and 2,5 are approved for a dynamic range of 1/250 (qi/qp).

The ultrasonic compact energy meter can be used for measuring the energy consumption in heating application for billing purposes. The measurement principle is static and based on the measurement of the transit time. Ultrasonic technology offers many benefits: no moving parts (avoids wear and tear of the metering components), low pressure loss, large metering dynamics and low start flow-rate, intensiveness to suspended particles.

The SL1 Portable Transit Time Ultrasonic Heat Meter is a state-of-the-art universal transit-time flow meter designed using MultiPulseTM technology and low-voltage broadband pulse transmission, it features the worlds advanced non-invasive flow measurement technology providing a measuring system with unsurpassed accuracy, versatility, ease of installation and dependability.
Supplied in an IP67 enclosure, the SL1 is the perfect tool for harsh environmental conditions and HVAC and energy measurement surveys and provides sustained operation in a wide range of industrial applications.

Due to the non-intrusive nature of the clamp-on technique, no mechanical parts need to be inserted through the pipe wall or to protrude into the flow system so there is no pressure drop (save energy), no moving parts (low maintenance), no leaks and no contamination. The unique clamp-on fixture design makes the installation very straightforward and requires no special tools or skills and due to the non-invasive nature of clamp-on transducers, there is no pressure drop, no moving parts, no leaks, and no risk of contamination or corrosion.

  • Accurate to ±1.0%-2.0% of reading at rates >0.5 m/s
